I receive the above message when trying to use the site crossword-dictionary.com. This has only happened recently. Is this error something I can rectify on my computer or would the site have closed. Have been using this site for years. Any helpful information would be much appreciated.

I've just tried the site and I get the same error as you; it could be a temporary problem with the site.

500 error normally means the website is still there but not working. There’s nothing you can do at your end.

Thanks for the info. I did wonder if that might be the case, but am not that computer literate!!!

The bad news is if it’s been like that for some time the chances are there’s no one looking after it any more perhaps
