Topfield PVR

I have a Topfield 5800 PVR. I thought I read somewhere, you can start to record a programme half way through, and the Topfield will record it from the beginning of the programme. I cannot find the instructions on how to do this. Anyone any info please? Thanks.

Not sure about the Topfield, but assuming it runs similar to the Fusion models, it will be storing 30 minutes or so in a cache, as long as you haven't changed channel. The way the fusions work is that if you watch 15 minutes of a film then decide to record it, it will record from the start. It can't do that if you haven't the tuner tuned to that channel though.
