I am looking to buy a second-hand mobile phone. If it says simlocked - Vodaphone, will this be ok for me. My present mobile phone is a contract one with Vodaphone, can I just put in my sim card to the second-hand phone, or do I need to look for a mobile thats unlocked?

Your vodafone sim will work in an old vodafone pay as you go phone.

Just to add, u might need to update the WAP/GPRS, MMS settings when you put your sim card into another phone.

Thanks for your answer PatTheRat but i am afraid that is far too technical for me. What does it mean? Presumably if I get an unlocked phone I can just put my present sim card in and away to go?
