Thursday. At last! I've been trying to get on here for over an hour. Still, here now.
Another sunny day is dawning, but we are told it's going to change. So don't put the winter woollies away just yet!

No idea what today holds yet. i'll find out as the day goes on.

Morning all.... well it's happened and all rather painless - apparently she was holding court yesterday and trying to help the carers do their work.....Now to get on with life.

DTC the relief must be immense. Now you can go back to just being 'son' instead of all the other roles. expect a bit of a bump when the relief wears off though

I know Rowan - been through management of change course that covers upheavals so will recognise the signs....the cat, the Princess Royal, is spooked....

The carer (#1) was the one who had problems yesterday - in floods of tears and having to stifle it to avoid giving the game away. She's okay as I gave her a call last night and is working up at the Royal Devon Show, so some good distraction there.

well it's all dropped into place - just a doctor's appt this afternoon and then eyes tomorrow for a new pair of glasses...also switching supplier as Spec Savers were brilliant when I broke the arm on this pair. V-Express useless and trying to get me to buy a new pair, Spec Savers making a repair and not even charging me.....well they get my shout now for doing that.

Two pairs for the price of one. At £400 that's a big saving!

I just go for the varifocal discount on one pair now, then get an older pair reglazed later on if I fancy a change.

Good plan. I've got two pairs from them and one photochromic from a private company.
