what to expect in mental health nursing

i am due to go to uni to study to become a mental health nurse, as im a mature student im finding all a bit daunting, so could any one tell me what i could expect firstly as a mature student and secondly what to expect on the mental health side of things.

Sorry to be boring, but I think one thing you could expect to find was that 'loopy' wouldn't be all that PC in the mental health field. Good luck with your other problem (I;ve just posted a reply).

if you are a mature student you will have life experiences the younger students will not have had, forget it being daunting mature people are a great asset to any profession good luck
Ditto crete, people with experience are always more use. Good luck with it! Jo Brand was in mental health, I believe.
