In yesterdays Sunday Times News Review P3 a sentence at the end of an item on Galapagos says 'The locals do not understand why the environment should come first when they have to eat and educate their children'. Which are the edible bits?

Trust The Grauniad!
you should send it to private eye
Er... I think you've just committed a bit of a Grauniad-style error yourself there, Gef! The question said it was the Sunday Times!
Thanks waldo - as usual never read the whole question and just assumed it was The Guardian. Also tried to include my favourite Grauniad misprint in my first attempt to answer but it appears that tit's (without the apostrophe) is a profanity.
Yes, that is an interesting paper. On P26 of the Driving section it states " Numberplates are required under the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 to be fixed vertically on the front and rear of the car. The DVLA says it is not aware of any cars that cannot display vertical numberplates" !!!
