Im trying to sell my house and my next door neighbour parks his big white works van outside on the street. Im sure its putting people off buying my house. What can I do about this?

There is nothing you can do if it is legally parked and has a current tax disc. Only thing to do is ask nicely if he could move for an hour while you have a viewing.

Arrange viewings for when he is at work. Or if he does some kind of call out work - call him out to a fictious call miles away just before your viewers are due

Have you thought of having one of the servants go round there and give this prole a good ironing out! How absolutely awful that these men are allowed to get away with such things! A white van! Outside YOUR house!

Hundreddolla - Did I say I was bothered by the van?? No it is other people coming to view the house not me...there is no need for that kind of sarcasm when Im just seeking some advice the most polite way to deal with something that is obviously stopping me from selling my house. In fact I have asked him politely and he now parks it away from the house so thanks to those of you who gave genuine answers.
