I seem to have lost the plot. Why are Steve and Tracy living with Liz?
Where did they live before.

When he got back together with Tracy, she and Amy moved in with them. Given that it's only a flat above a cab office, it must be rather crowded!

>>> How many bedrooms are seriously in the Platt house??
Not a clue, but Martin & Gail must have got a real bargain when they bought it for £38,000 in 1991. I sold a house in Sheffield (in an area not greatly different from Coronation Street) for £26,000 in 1991. It was a 2-up, 2-down terrace, with one of the upper bedrooms converted to a bathroom but with an extra bedroom (with just a skylight) in the attic. However it needed re-roofing and I sold it cheaply as the guy buying it was (and still is) a beneficiary of my will. A more realistic price for a house in that road would have been the £42,000 that my near-neighbour got for his 2-bedroom house in that same year.
So (unless Martin & Gail really did get an incredible bargain) it would seem unlikely that 8 Coronation Street has more than 2 or, at the very most, 3 bedrooms. (The type of housing depicted along Coronation Street would also seem to be incompatible with more than 2 or 3 bedrooms). So it must be very crowded with 9 people living there!
