Having watched 2 series, I'm looking forward to binge watching season 3 tomorrow :-)

John Cardinal is the eponymous hero, police detective, has a history (err, don't they all lol)

The make-up department don't stint on special effects so be careful!

yep, BBC4, 9pm, Saturday.

It's more about how the pieces are put together which leads Cardinal and side-kick to the perpetrators.
Quite clever.

Its very good, the main lead was the Rocketeer in the 90's, still good looking in a jaded sort of way.

A little hidden gem and something to enjoy before MOTD on a Saturday night. There is a definite non sexual chemistry between Cardinal and Lise and i hope it stays that way. Based on books by Giles Blunt which i'm pondering having a read of once i've finished my latest Last Kingdom read. According to Wicki, the author is also a screenwriter and is responsible for 4 series of Cardinal. So there is another out there for the BEEB to purchase :-))
