Since You Joined Ab...

I've been sitting here thinking about how different my life is since I first joined AB. Back when I joined I lived in a different country, I was coming to the end of a flagging 14-year relationship and work was drying up.
I'm now married with a child, have a job I love in the NHS and I'm about to start a renovation project which will see me turn a veritable cow shed into the home of my dreams.
In between then and now I repatriated, fell into the NHS, met and moved in with a fellow Ab'er, split 2 years later when he cheated on me whilst my nan was dying with cancer, moved to the Midlands, met my soul mate, nearly died from an ectopic pregnancy and subsequently lost my sanity (PTSD) and then eventually had a successful, albeit difficult pregnancy.
A large number of you have been with me throughout the entire journey and we've seen some lovely people come and go along the way.
So ... please describe your "AB life history" ... What has happened on your journey during the AB years?

Nope! Although I suggested to one of the two contacts mentioned earlier, that we should meet up for a Premier League match. I would have got the tickets and made arrangements to meet. But he couldn't make it, and we could never quite get the same date to meet up. Shame. I still wonder about him and hope he's OK.

Not too different really. I joined because I lost my parents within 14 months of each other and my lovely dog also and thought it might help me overcome my grief as sometimes I laugh out loud at some of the posts and the witty responses. I'm still grieving because losing my parents was the hardest thing I have ever had to cope with as they were my family. One of the better things that have happened was meeting my beautiful dog who came from Spain and who I love with all my heart. When I first got her she gave me a reason to get up in the mornings - pets are good like that. More good news is that two of my closest friends have had new babies in the family, one is now a Great Aunt and another a Great Grandma. I get fed up with AB at times and think of leaving, but I'm still here !
