With the growth in antisemitism and the systematic abuse of anyone who disagrees with the prescribed view on any given subject, are the left the new fascists?

Both the Hard Left and the Hard Right are defined by intolerance, extremism and the need to hate "the other".
Britain is in a dangerous place now as the centre ground of moderate politics is being hacked away.

Most definitions agree that fascism is authoritarian and promotes nationalism at all costs, but such is the fluidity of definition now, who knows? Certainly, the rise of rise of populism across Europe recently may mean fascism is taking hold again often through quite sophisticated media communication. Suggest that folk may like to look at websites rune by Vinnie Sullivan, Glenn Teale, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and Timothy Scott. None of these gents would have any left wing sympathies at all, but certainly would qualify as having fascist views.
