Synchronised Clapping!

Last night I watched the Freddie Mercury tribute concert.
When they played Radio Gaga the audience excelled themselves. The clapping had to be seen to be believed. There were thousands and thousands in the audience. It was a real joy to see such exuberance.

I agree, there is no comparison between Freddie and Paul but I think the clapping sequence was so much better in the tribute act.

Thanks Caran, because of your post I have just sat through watching a video of Queen's 1986 concert at Wembley.
Can't count the times I've seen it.
Never get tired of it.
The audience at all of his concerts got very exuberant.
He was such a great showman.

I agree.
Have been a member of the "club" for a while now.
I am a 72 yr old Great grandmother and still love to hear his music.
I often wonder what he would have done if he had been with us for a bit longer.
Regret not being able to see a live concert, but then you get a better view on the dvds. Plus I can bop about without looking silly to strangers!

I saw that, the first time for me. I love Queen, and the tribute concert was brilliant. So sad that Freddie has left us

MrsLadyBug, Freddie would have been the same age as you had he lived. I always regret not going to see Queen live when I had the chance.

I will tell you a funny story, well sort of. My family think "I'm going slightly mad"!
I had to go for an angiogram about 10 years ago and was a little apprehensive as someone I knew had one and his heart had stopped during the proceedure and had to be revived with shock treatment.
So as I was on trolley on way to theatre I decided I should take my mind of things by singing in my head.
The song I chose was "Don't Stop me now"
So I always use it since to take my mind of any unpleasant situations I may be experiencing.
I have even told my lot to play it at my funeral!
