There used to be a local one in my village 25 EXY. A local estate agent had HO11SE. Someone I knew in Spain had EL JIM. I’ve seen A11DI. and F1RES.

On my way home from seeing my first grandchild for the first time, we were travelling behind a brand new car the reg included the year and initials of my grandson.

It would have meant nothing to the driver but after my son and DIL waiting 18 years for their first born we were all so emotional i would have bought that reg or car if i could have.

I see a vehicle now and again that has a square number plate on the rear saying DR P1E, no idea what they do.

I saw an ad in The Sunday Times for a numberplate which was very relevant to me, but the price was £70,000. And that was 15 years ago!
