Can't see any posts on the finale so posting this.
What did you think? Do you think the the producers/writers rushed to end it and it could have been eeked out a bit more? This is the general consensus on social media.
I thought it was fantastic and all the cast and crew did an amazing job :o)

If it is as bad as some say, that could well be because the first set of series followed the books but then overtook the author. He has still to write the final story of his 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series and says there are probably 2 more books worth to be written. Will be interesting to see his idea of the story's finale.
I don't think Drogon saw him stab her so he might not have known it was Jon, he appeared just after, probably sensing she was dead, I shed a few tears!! As Jon Snow is a Targaryen maybe the link with dragons stopped him from being killed.
It seemed quite poignant that he went for the Iron Throne, the drive for which helped send his mother mad and linking back to breaking the wheel. I think, anyway.
Also them not wanting to kill Jon Snow off given he was a big part of the final scenes, and it meant we got to see Tormund again, which I was glad about.
