Interesting Day At A & E
8 Answers
Had to attend A&E with my mum today. Thankfully turned out not to be anything (too) serious or cancer related.
However...It seemed to be one thing after another for the few hours that we were up there.
Saw the Air Ambulance arrive (never seen it in close up b4) almost immediately followed by an alarm and staff rushing out to a car that had just pulled up and wheeling someone in on a trolley. Whilst there, there were police dealing with a person that obviously had mental health issues along with (from what I could gather) a social worker. And on it went!
Ive been the first to pick fault with the NHS. in the past.
But for all its failings, I hope to God that its never privatised/monetized.

They don't earn big money for what they do so they must do it for the love of the job and the satisfaction they get from saving lives and generally helping the unfortunate. I echo your sentiments, nailit.
