Did Delilah actually cut Samsons hair herself?
We are having a bit of a discussion. We seem to remember than on QI a few months ago it was said that Delilah did not actually cut Samsons hair herself, that it was a slave boy of some description. Does anyone know the answer?

I can't quite see why she "didn't deserve" the bad press, Ethel. After all, she lulled the poor victim to sleep and betrayed him. The fact that she 'caused' someone else to do the actual shearing hardly renders her innocent, surely! If you were to drug a man and then persuade a third person to stab him to death, I think you can rest assured you'd be charged jointly with murder.
