Mr.Sam going fishing and giving me space for an hour or two, darling 5 yr.old grandson spending the night with us last night and taking him out, making pancakes this morning with him, finding a good book to read and reading it as long as I want to, having down graded into an apartment, not having to clean rooms we don't use, Dama de Noche starting to blossom...
Spending five days away with a dear friend and her ageing dogs.
Girlie talks and walks along the Norfolk coast with the wild sea and managing to avoid the land slides!
What about yours gness?
I love the Norfolk coast, Jake.....spent so many happy hours there especially when MrG was ill. Friends gave us their cottage to use whenever he was able to travel and it really was bliss....
Mine? Just arriving back in Ireland after two not very nice weeks in the UK......back to the calm and quiet.....and then today doing my stint in the charity shop in the village. So many tourists from all over the world to chat to.....lovely day....x
Today was wonderful. Had my whole family for lunch. Mr BM cooked the joint on the bbq! Stunning!!
But more than anything it was a non wedding cracking family time. Laughed until we cried. Piano recital by mum, some good banter and just fun. I'm so so lucky.....
Just read your other post......some twitter on about the commercial side but if we just use it as a special day to spoil someone and have some fun in a simple way then it's a day to enjoy....x
Bliss yesterday was my husband's face when he opened his cards and presents and the perfectly cooked pork belly we had for dinner. Bliss today was a cuddle in bed with my little boy before getting up ❤
Bliss in a sad way was spending valuable time with dad, we had a lovely if moving fathers day.
Helped him plan his funeral and laughed at his choice of songs!
