Kitchen Cupboard Doors That Won't Peel.
1 Answers
12 yrs ago we had new foil wrapped doors fitted to our existing kitchen units - - to cut a long story short the glue securing the foil wrap went off and all the doors peeled
( company went bust) -Option 1 is to strip the doors back to the MDF and repaint or 2. to replace them - solid wood is too expensive. I've been told foil wrapped 5 block doors won't peel - are they any good ?

Several processes come under the heading of "foil-wrapped".
PVC or vinyl wrap are probably the best. There is a system where paper is impregnated with a resin type chemical, although the idea of that doesn't fill me with much confidence.
As with most things, the only criterion available to punters such as us, is price. I usually use Howdens Trade kitchens, simply because I can rely on the quality. Of course there are many others, but they are mostly priced above the level of some of the DIY store-based products.
Sorry I haven't come across the term "5 block".
