"Good morning. I am calling from the NHS. The consultant surgeon has reviewed your records and decided that your testicles need to be removed as a matter of urgency. Should you not wish this operation please press 1 now, and have your debit/credit card handy."
Far-fetched? Nothing would surprise me these days.
I’ve had four calls today, all from different phone numbers, and all saying that Visa have a transaction of £600 which they are concerned about (or words to that effect). I am advised to press something but I just rang off. It’s always a recorded message so I know it’s spam. Fortunately I can block all these numbers and have done so.
I had an e-mail advising me that Saddam Hussain's daughter wanted my help in releasing her multi-million pound fortune through my bank account.
I was so chuffed, I mailed my account details right away, fancy someone as famous as Saddam's daughter choosing little ole me to share her money with!!!
