Hi,

Just went to Ester & Jerry Hicks seminar in Dublin on "The Art of Allowing", the teachings of Abraham.

Very interesting stuff, anyone else out there a fan? Or a fan of Rhonda Byrne and THE SECRET?

Sorry NO, never heard of them, but if you believe in their crap, good luck.

PS: Don't be a mug and put money in their coffers.
Presumably we are talking of the Biblical Abraham. Anyone who promotes the philosophy of this Abraham is a jerk.
I assume that swan1 is either Ester & Jerry Hicks or Rhonda Byrne (whoever they may be)
That was my thought too squarebear!

WOW!!

I've been part of many online forums over the last ten years, everything from sports, to parenting to health forums and I have encountered hundreds of people with many views and beliefs, some the same and some very different to mine.

But in all those years, everybody has been respectful of another.

I do not care that you believe the Law of Attraction to be a load of 'crap', but I do feel that when someone posts something they are doing it to either ASK a question or to chat with other people who have a certain topic in common. Your dismissive comments are nothing but disrespectful when someone takes the time to post a new topic. Whether you agree with the topic or not, there is never an excuse to snear at another.

I think if your comments are not positive or at the very least, helpful, then they would serve you better kept to yourself. I only registered with this website yesterday and today is my second and LAST time to log in, but I might add you have left an impression of this website. I don't doubt that you will have some very intellectual reply to how much I will be missed.
Aww, come on swan1.

Don't get miffed with people just for saying what they believe. These people you went to see are also just saying what they believe, The difference is, they probably want to charge you for listening to their particular brand of poop.

At least on AnswerBank you get honest opinions for free.
Abraham Hicks is both enlightening and inspiring at the same time. I highly recommend buying their calendar. Every day there is a new quote. The only qualms I have with the teachings is Esther's/Abraham's use or misuse of the word "wanting."
