Vodka Melon

Can anyone tell me how to go about making a vodka melon!
Is it a water melon i need?
i know i put a funnel in it and keep topping it up with vodka but how long - couple of weeks? im not sure!!

Cut a hole in the melon and fill with Vodka every day for 5 days , then cut open and serve.

Need a really good water melon, longish funnel, top up the funnel with vodka and everytime the vodka disappears from the top of the funnel keep filling it up, it can take days - we did it in about 8 days I think but well worth it.

i know this sounds daft but does the vodka preserve the watermelon and do you keep it int the fridge whilst your doing this?

not in the fridge but in a cool place!
yeah the vodka prob dus preseve it!!!

The best way is with a syringe, you can then inject vodka into pretty much anything, and has the added bonus of staying sealed!

Id say keep in fridge
My best mate did one and it went mouldy and wasted a whole bottle of vodka. She wasnt impressed
