Faulty Plane - So So Unlucky!

Teen Smow is at airport with his two best friends, actually sat in plane on runway, ready to take off for their first ever ‘boys’ weekend abroad, when pilot suddenly has just announced that there is a problem with the flight control and he has called an engineer out. How unlucky is that!! Feel so bad for them. In all my years of holidays I’ve not once had that.

Put onto new plane, took off and have just landed in Amsterdam!

Was sat on an A380 at Heathrow when it was announced that ground crew had reversed something into a loading bay door. It didn't take too long to fit. You can rest assured they will be doing it as quickly as possible as the plane probably has another 3/4 trips today.

As everyone said it could have been a lot worse. They are there now and still morning - just!!

was sat on a BA DC10 some years ago, just about to depart Gatwick, when the captain suddenly announced "Cabin Crew. Can you see smoke?"

was just beginning to think I was going to get an inflatable slide ride when he came on again; the tower had seen a puff of visible exhaust when the starboard engine had been started. 1 check by the engineer later and it was next stop Atlanta....

A bit scary, glad they arrived alright.

Had to be put up in a hotel once, because of a problem with a plane.

Couldn't fly until lunchtime the next day.

Arrived in Nairobi at two in the morning.
