The quiz is described only as 'related to things to do with the army' here. (So it might be about more than tanks):
https:/ /fundra isingqu izzes.n et/quiz zes.php
(I note that 'hopeful' has asked the same question on that site, which is currently unanswered. Of course 'hopeful' and 'dozyrozy' might be one and the same anyway!)
If you don't get a definitive answer here, dozyrozy, I suggest phoning the quiz setter (at a reasonable hour, of course!) to check with him. David Felstead is on 01406 424751.

I had a look on the Fundraising site and seen a thread about folk asking for answers when asked not to do so.

An AB member e-mailed the setter why that was a condition and the setter (HONEYBEE) has said what her reply was. It included this,
"I have noted the questions asked on AB and have asked the editing team to remove some answers. I shouldn't need to do this."
Can the Ab Editor confirm that folk will continue to be allowed to ask for answers to ANY quiz questions?
Also, can the Ab Editor confirm that requests from quiz-setters for answers to be deleted will be declined?

I see no harm in asking whether the policy has changed or no.
ODDBODY did not respond to the quiz-setter with what the Ab Editor's previous response had been so she may not be aware or has forgotten.

I have a copy of this quiz and nowhere on it does it specify there is a no asking policy. When I replied I did not give a direct answer .. I answered the question about whether the anagram was possibly incorrect and stated that I had a possible answer. Not sure what I may be considered to have done against the spirit of the quiz. I did raise a query about another question i was dubious about but did not ask for the answer to it.
SMOUSE, I gave a link to the thread in question. If folk want to read what the AB member asked and Honeybee's response, they will see that both were lengthy.
My issue is only with contact being made with the Ab Editor asking for the deletion of answers.
