Sunday. Well it's finally stopped raining! It's going to be a sunny day...I hope!

Only a wee bit of running around today, so, with a bit of luck, I'll be out the back in the sunshine as there is nothing else on the calendar!

A stroll along the lane was nice, The view across the Vale as dawn was breaking was breathtaking.

The Vyvyan Arms at the top of Trelowarren Street has some infamous history in being the centre of a pitched battle between striking miners and an Army corps dispatched from Plymouth - and then for holding the world record for keeping a ferret down one's trousers......

There was an American who checked into Tyacks at the other end of the street (down near the Church and the jct with Bassett Road). He phoned down to reception, "Help, I gotta leak in my sink." The receptionist replied, "That's alright, Sir, please go ahead."
