Our Lidl was closed for two months for refurbishment. They have extended by about 25%.
I don't like it.
They have changed where everything is and I am wandering about like a headless chicken. There is no real sense of order. It bears no relationship to how it was before.
They used to have a rule that all Lidl stores have to be laid out the same,
So this one now matches the Gloucester store.
I'm not a happy bunny!

Aldi's wine selection is truly superb. Their cheeses and patés are divine. Lidl's cheeses last Christmas were out of this world.

Aldi's own nappies are far superior to Pampers and any Midwife will tell you that. Their Petis Filous style yoghurts are a fraction of the price you'd pay in other s/markets and just as good.

I now do the majority of my shopping at Aldi or Lidl.

I`ve never had a good red wine from Aldi. They all taste thin and insipid.
