^Distilled water is purer. Rain can pick up pollutants on the way down and fall as acid rain for example.

For 1, I'd say no if you mean the rain water that falls. Distilled water made in a lab should be purer. Rain water is almost pure as the solids are left behind when it evaporates but the pure rain picks up acid and dust particles and pits of say sodium
