I started out working at a company called G H Strauss in Manchester. They closed down and I transferred to a sister company in Pendleton, Frederick road called Mandlebergs. It was a raincoat manufacturers. I was office junior for a while, then I was promoted to buyers secretary. One day I had to walk through the factory and I was suddenly aware of a lady speaking to me, it was my mother!
I didn't realise that was where she was working, it was the most surreal moment I had.

You're right Spicerack. I just say what I think most of the time. I reckon some things can appear cold, even callous, but that's because they are just words on a screen and because of that, the feeling behind them isn't there. I honestly feel that some people on here lose touch with reality at times. And get away with breaching Site Rules.

I don't dislike animals. We have had our fair share of pets over the years. I tolerate animals without any fondness for them. Like lots of things I could mention but won't because some touchy, feely, precious people will lose touch with reality again because they feel they have the right to be annoyed, even insulted, at them. Hey Ho!
