Let-On Or Let-In

From dickpatven123,
From Admit a student to a school (2 words) at 21d in the skeleton I have LET-ON but it could be LET-IN for 'admit' in the Chambers Crossword Dictionary. Which of you agrees with me that it should be LET-ON? With many thanks for your replies.
