What's the best way to make home made crisps? Do you need special equipment or is there a way of doing it without special equipment? How do you add flavour?

Hi PF - crikey - meeting an ABer??? better be on the best behaviour then!
Hope you can make it - I should be there 'til at least 8 or 9 at night - you can have a go at the Stoats Organic Porridge too, and there should be a couple of other stands as well.
Go and see Momma Cherri in the Dome at the Pleasance opposite us, too - Charita was one of Gordon Ramsays 'victims' recently with her soul food cafe in Brighton, and she is here for a couple of weeks with the Cafe - and a gospel spot too - loads of fun! She's also got her mum here from Dallas making the best sticky rib sauce - as well as cat fish goujons, jambalaya, key lime pie - all too nice.....be prepared and wear something waterproof for the feeding session!!
Oh and I'll flog you a copy of my cookbook........see you later.

Pinkiefriend - - note re. Edinburgh Fest, Sunday - the fascists in the University of Ed. have rescinded the licence for the market in Bristo Square, so I won't be on site there on Sunday.
Caused a lot of trouble with the producers as well as denying you the opportunity, too....I'll be on the Ed Farmers' market on this Saturday - Castle Terrace, 9 - 2 if you're free then, or at Musselburgh Races now, on the 17th, then plan to be at Ed Mkt again next Sat and at Lomond Shores F/Mkt at Balloch on next Sunday the 20th from 10 - 3.
Hope you can still make it - come and get the crisps - I was chatting to (heres the name dropping.....) Christine Hamilton and a few other luvvies yesterday and they all loved the crisps, so do see if you can make it.
Cheerie!
