If a company changes their recipe and you no longer the taste, how is that the retailer's fault?

Your rights are against the retailer (the company that sold you the product), not the manufacturer, so you must make any claim against the retailer.

she said they'd put in more seeds. Waitrose said they hadn't. But at yeast they refunded her dough; she must have kneaded it.
