Been a lovely day here in N.Wales(at least where we are). I spent the morning securing my tomatoes, peas, and all the tallish plants etc. in anticipation of apocalyptic storms and...……..warm breeze and gentle rain. They do like a good scare story though on the "Nooows". Can't even believe the weather forecast nowadays.

Hot, sticky and humid in Blackpool.
We have had light showers, rain , stoatin' off the ground rain, and a torrent of biblical proportions.
The thunder scared the cat and the first day of the Air-show has been cancelled tomorrow....
Luckily the roofer had just completed replacing a roof-slate before it all started about 2pm.

I forgot to mention the 20 minute power cut at 5 o'clock - no idea if it was weather-related though.

Rain is now a drizzle, but the wind and getting dark!
I guess they were right to cancel those festivals, I wouldn't wanna be out in this!
