I didn't even realise we'd had one, until I went into the kitchen and saw the oven timers flashing. I was sitting reading in the sitting room and was totally unaware that the power had gone off.

Not to my knowledge, Tilly, but when all my health issues gang up on me at the same time I am sloth-like so I wouldn't really notice a power cut :)
