Hi,for some reason in my Outlook Express Local Folders box I have been receiving loads of mail from people I dont know,so how do I delete these messages without opening them,also how do I stop them coming in.thanks

You can't stop them coming in unless you block those specific email addresses. But if they're spam emails you're just keep getting them anyway, probably.

Sign up to spamgourmet.com. It's a great system that works well, and should reduce your spam in time.

Report any email that is spam as spam. If Outlook doesn't allow you to do this (I don't use it), I can recommend Thunderbird, which looks very similar and has a good bayesian spam filter built-in.

First you need to prevent them from opening automatically: Click on View/Layout from the main menu and uncheck the box "Show the preview pane".

To delete them, just right-click on each and choose Delete from the context menu.
