I thought all lock knives were now illegal under newer legislation regardless of the 3” blade length particularly in public places. I always carry a small knife but stopped carrying my stainless steel locking blade with serrations which was needed when I blue water sailed. Ironically the knife was issued to me by the police. Perhaps NJ can help re recent law
yes I have got a couple knives that are now illegal to carry. I agree that a blade which locks open is much safer than one without a lock...have never been sure about the logic of banning them.
