If God created the Universe, who created God?

It makes as much sense as claiming something for which there is no evidence is responsible. I wouldn't mind if you just said you think something supernatural may have 'dunnit', Theland - but you don't. You claim to know precisely what - and who 'dunnit'!! There's no sense in that whatsoever.

It all depends on how one believes. If someone believes that God himself was created then tell your child about that person. Like someone here said and what is well known believe among atheists. That Man created God. Then you don't need to think anymore. However if you believe that only created things has a creator then God is not a creation or was not created. Therefore it was always there and would be there ever.

Finally, human only live a limited period and after that we all will know one way or another. I am as a believer willing to wait and see.

Gods can't be created, unless one believes Small Gods. A God was a reasonable conjecture which became a belief. One no one has actually disproved, even though many have doubts today.

A God need not be created if it was there at whatever constitutes 'the start'. And there may not even be a start if time is circular. Or an emergent illusion. But that explanation may be a bit deep. 'Lies to children' and all that. One gets the explanation one can understand and which satisfies for now.
