It's always a nice feeling for that wall of heat to hit you when getting off a plane at your destination but it's twice as nice having the same happen at this end,Happy Summer everyone :0)

Fortunately Bobby we live out in the sticks a bit inland. But the roads are heaving, the shops are heaving and the beaches will be a total nightmare. We have them to ourselves in the winter. Was not so bad when I was younger, but I still kept out of the Sun because of prickly heat! Old misery! ;o)

We don't live too far from the gorgeous Northumberland coastline like Amble,Seahouses,Druridge Bay etc but two of them will be heaving today,D Bay is very unspoilt , nothing around but the beautiful beach up there

It is lovely here in Milton Keynes, too hot to do anything energetic.

I love North Yorkshire and Northumberland. We live in North Norfolk with a beautiful heritage coastline.

I will never understand the people who worship hot temperatures and scorching sun and wonder if some of them will still be smiling and happy when they attend hospital for skin cancer.

My animals do not like this heat, nor does the wild life. Heaven forbid we should suffer any wild fires ...
