has anyone stayed at the Gold Coast hotel in vegas?

Yes... spent 4 days there in July. It's fairly new, rooms are large and very comforatable. All the usual amenities as far as the casino is concerned. There were 4 or 5 restaurants on premises, which is good, since I was there for a conference. Down side is that (if that's what you're looking for) it's about 8 to 10 miles west of the "Strip". The pick up at the airport is on the north side of the terminal and be sure not to get on the South Coast van. It's a 20 to 30 minute ride, depending on the time of day for traffic. I'd recommend it with the exception of its location... Welcome to the U.S., by the way...
