Ed, even though this poster has been banned, I can still see the post appearing in the posts list.

Also if you click on it in latest posts it will show "couldn't retrieve this thread"

I found that for a while. Maybe it's a cache thing somewhere ?

I don’t think its a cache as I am now on my ipad and can still see it, when I click on it, its not found and user is listed as banned, but I thought that the question was supposed to disappear off the main list too?

Woofy, It should disappear, but on occasion I have zapped a spammer and it has remained for a while on latest posts.

All the spammers disappear when reported OG, at least on my puter.

Dunno. Was on the front page at the time. They'd been banned but the thread was still there in the headings, but unreachable. It finally did disappear. I suspect it has to do with all the recent problems getting a reaction on this site and having to wait for responses. This site is either infected by something, or more likely a buggy update was applied somewhere. Or maybe it's an ad issue again tying up resources.
