I haven't heard why the deal collapsed. Is this the one where the current owner is being a bit of a kipper about the deal and doesn't think it's good enough?

A dreadful shame if they do go bust.

Not looking too good for Bury either.
I think Macclesfield and another 'small' team are near death throes too.

A great shame and obscene when you hear about the multi-million pound transfers that go on.

I can't see the miracle appearing, it's very sad for a once-great club to find themselves in this position - for Bury also.

They'd struggle, those were different days, my Dad and Nat and his brother Tommy all grew up together and we as a family revolved so much around the club.

Mate of mine is a big Bolton fan. Such a shame a club which is so much part of the fabric of the community with a great modern ground is in such a pickle.
