Thursday. After yesterday's rain the sky is clear this morning, at the moment anyway.
Nothing on the calendar for today, nothing until next week actually, if it stays nice I may go over to Cheltenham. I haven't been there for a while. we shall see.

Well, I have no idea if lunch is to be out and ditto dinner, the latter with my eldest sis though, yesterday and after getting back from quite a trip down the M6/M5, she was feeling under the weather. She ended up having to come into Cornwall via Plymouth as the A30 was closed on both sides at Cheriton Bishop, a truck having crashed through the central reservation barrier and taken out a few cars and a van...

That is some smash DT! I hadn't heard of it.

No one killed but one or two critical.

Then I saw the bomb squad RN van...blue lights flashing, some incident at Liskeard so they were either late for tea back at Culdrose or shipping something over there.

and the Falmouth (large) lifeboat went out when we were having lunch, no report on that yet.

and the Scillonian broke down off Penzance, the Sennen lifeboat dispatched to that....never been on it and don't really want to, the bathtub that it is.

Bad luck there......anyway, I had better be moving and zip off into the metropolis known as Truro, a couple of basics and then jobs to be done - such as b-day cards, one of which needs to be expedited pronto...
