Sunday. Another nice day on the way, some cloud about but I don't think it's going to rain.
The joys of domesticity after the usual Sunday trip to do a bit of shoplifting and see my favourite checkout girl. Always good fun, she, me and a mate have the place in fits of giggles. Last week one lady said she only goes shopping in that store on Sunday because she knows she will have a good laugh. At least we make one person happy! :o}

DTC do you have pruning saw to help you with thicker branchs? Budliea is a really good plant for butterflies.

plenty of butterflies in the hedges surrounding the fields...this one is completely overgrown and my loppers are excellent for the thickness of the branches and shoots involved - don't think I need the pruning saw but my sister has one....once I have some clearance, then there's the brambles to take on....it's not a large patch, just dense - about 20 feet by 15.....

OK DTC need some gloves on when you start on the brambles then.

exactly, got a couple of pairs for heavy-duty stuff.....there's a large bonfire built up about 30 yards away...maybe time for that to go up later.
