An itch is something you wish to scratch.

Yes it has Tony but no one ( not even Sqad can say what causes an itch )
If you google "what is an itch?" you'll find good explanations....
I can recommend this cream ....

It is just an irritation... an allergy usually causes it (such as a bite or something). Scratching it is basically self-harm, which distracts your brain from the itch.

Why would I forget I'm on the Internet?
Trivial as it may be to you , after today it's a light hearted question, you do not need to answer if you don't want to

No bite but I find Aveevo cream to help
-- answer removed --
I think aveevo is just a moisturiser, so it may just be dry skin, if that helps. Keep it moisturised regularly x

Zacs stop trying to trip me up lol
I don't like you , you don't like me
I'm cool with that but that's the 3rd time since I came back on AB you've spouted that and I'm sure there'll be more times
E45 cream is good also.
Question Author
Pixie, it was just on one side of the left foot, Aveevo has done the trick ( thankfully)
Question Author
Thanks Goegiesmum, I do have some of that

Maybe just continue with it for now, whether it irritates you or not. And hopefully, that might be enough to prevent it.
Question Author
Thank you Pixie, I will
You can actually negate an itch if you concentrate on it for long enough.

It's nothing like as satisfying as the sensation of scratching it, but if the itch is unreachable, inside a plaster cast for example, it's better than nothing.
Bobby...not enough information.
What medication if any are you taking ?
Is there a rash associated with the "itch?"
Have you been under any excessive emotional strain recently?
Question Author
No rash-take no meds, happy as a pig in muck ,Sqad
