Could work I suppose as long as the invasive Asian date mussel doesn't get to it first. This predator has been found recently in coastal regions in Southern UK particularly Southampton water. It destroys eel grass.Hope it leaves seagrass alone.
Saw that earlier at the BBC site. Sounds great, unless there is a side effect we aren't privvy to. But if it died out because of pollution in the past, work needs to be done to ensure history doesn't repeat itself. Meanwhile, every little helps.
