He is getting a big kicking in the chamber.

Unfortunately his demeanour tonight was embarrassing. Like JRM last night he showed utter Contempt. Swinson
Just mauled Johnson and It was humiliating.
A best test for Boris, and he has flunked it.

Ah ok.
Yes it’s looking dodgy then Jim.
Although it’s hard to say with certainty exactly what is going to happen when any more.
//don't worry jim, your £20 is going to a worthy cause.//
Lol TTT. Well done.
Could you ask Tora for an extension :-)
Ah, OK, Corby. I was addressing earlier the specific idea, from CrapatCryptics, that somehow the Queen herself might be considering whether to withhold Royal Assent. Similar to whether the Queen agreed to prorogue Parliament because she was enthusiastic about it, which was implied by another AB member and is equally wrong.
Haha! It would be in the spirit of this whole debacle!

But, no. By the end of September, and more likely the end of next week, we'll know whether or not there's going to be an election by the end of October.
System gets worse. Parliament fails to vote for early election because the 2/3rds wasn't reached. But apparently it isn't 2/3rds of those voting but 2/3rds of them all, and not 2/3rds of the House went through the doors anyway.
// // JIM, there are some experts who are of the opinion that the convention..........ould otherwise have to follow. //

jabber jabber jabber - the last time was 1714
( but the last time a speaker went was 1697 )

and it is worth while considering that one of the last times Royal Assent was refused was .....
Aliens Bill - scortland
Scots parliament 1690 bleeecuh
voted a bill that the "next King of Bonnie Scortland shall NOT be the king of England unless various guarantees were given to the people and parliament of Scortland"

so that went darn the tube pronto
Anne (*) said the greatest achievement of her reign was - anglo-scots union. (1707)
( and not thrashing the French in the war of spanish succession)

(*) great Anna whom three kingdoms obey

(Pope(**) that one

(**) yeah which pope wrote that one den den? - Pope Righto the first? sozza reader just mimicking and mocking the one-liners that issue forth from the average ABer

There will be an election before 2022. My bet is the spring 2020, after a ‘No Deal Brexit’ has had an effect.
I think great Anna took "tea" according to the poem. Albeit pronounced "thé".

As I said before, if Boris Johnson is as keen on an election as he claims he is now, it should have been done when he first took office.
It was quite amusing to listen to a succession of MPs rise during the debate duly singling from the #ElectionNow hymn sheet.
If we go past Oct 31 with no Brexit, very much a big if I’d say still, I wonder, with “Do or Die” dead and with Farage’s jowls consequently presumably dripping, whether they’ll be quite so gung-ho.
