my daughter hAS just started going to a childminder after school. she has tea there, and comes home about 6pm. She usualy needs something else snack wise when she gets home. She's not a great fan of fruit. Can anyone give me any ideas of snacks i might be able to prepare in advance, so i dont end up giving her a packet of crisps or other crap

Soup?
Cereal? Wraps?
Marmite sandwiches cut into quarters! We always loved that after school.

Olives, sticks of carrot and feta cubes.

Or Hard boiled egg.

Or rice cakes and peanut butter.

Toast .
Raw veg sticks, small cubes of cheese, plain yogurt, granary bread "soldiers".
A bowl of muesli, with lovely, cold semi skimmed milk.
Not muesli - too much added sugar in most brands.
Sainsburys do one with no added sugar or salt.
Cheese and crackers, sugar free jelly pots, breadsticks, cheese strings
yes, they do, Ubasses and very nice it is too.
Razor-sliced new potatoes pan fried twice in virgin olive oil, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and dusted with Hebridean powdered sea salt.

Or some other crap.
Mini frittatas made in muffin tins. You can put anything you want in them...cheese, finely chopped veggies, ham, tomatoes...and they can be frozen.
Or mini pizzas where you can add extra healthy toppings.
Bite size savoury scones
