Hole In Internal Wall
4 Answers
Hi all, I was hoping for some advice for a non handy person. I have a dual satellite cable coming in through my lounge wall through a hole (would have been better if I'd have been able to upload/attach pics). I have been looking for something like a white (plastic?) cover or plate or something I could stick around the hole that the cables can protrude through. Something stick on or something just to make it a bit better looking. I'm not good at DIY so I wouldn't be able to do anything elaborate. I got some small plastic plug type things from Amazon but the cable heads (metal) wouldn't fit through. I don't want to take the ends off and have to try and get them back on. Does anything spring to mind that may help? Link if you can please.

I think that you're probably going to have to removed the co-ax plugs from the cables in order to achieve what you're trying to do. (It's incredibly easy. If I can do it, anyone can!). However if you want to show us a photograph, all you have to do is to upload it to here http:// upl. co/ copy the 'direct' link and paste that into an answer on this thread. Easy peasy!

These are for radiator pipework. A 10mm hole, but you just open the split to fit them.
You'll need a dab of glue or silicone to stick it on.
Also, you may have to snap off the inner lugs to make it flush with the wall.

Thanks all, some great tips :-) Ended up taking the co-ax plugs off to fit through the small plastic thing as advised. They're not a perfect fit so I'll have to secure them a bit more with silicone or glue or something.
I even learned to upload photos today :-) Thanks all!
Here's a wee before and after.
