How can you truly tell if your boyfriend is cheating on you? The other night my boyfriend said he was going to bed then I found his car gone for 2 hours, he told me he went for a drive but i'm feeling paranoid. Is there any easy way to tell if he's lying?

In a word, no. If you know him well, you should be able to detect typical 'liar's' body language - unable to make eye contact, shuffling, and so on. It may be that you are just feeling insecure, and at another time, you;d have taken him at his word. You could wait and see if this sort of behaviour pattern repeats itself, and then tackle him about it, but in the mean time, try not to beat yourself up with possible scearios which may turn out to be miles from the truth. You could try asking him, as Andy says there are loads of scenarios that you will be able to imagine most of which won't be true so try having a frank "chat" with him.

Stupid cover story or not - if I was cheating on my girlfriend i would do the exact same thing. Come up with some stupid thing nobody would ever believe to be a cover story and you're safe. unless your boyfriend is dumb enough to actually try to convince you with something like that. So moog is right: there's no other way than to talk t him. If you know him a bit you should be able to tell if hes lying or not.
