Glad he has got something that seems better all round for him. As for tips restaurants and so probably bars that I know run something called a tranche scheme. Basically any tips are all put together and then divided between all staff at end of month. It is especially fairer in restaurants so that not only the server gets the money, but also chefs and all the backroom staff.
