We're in Spain at the mo and last night me and the missus were in a tapas bar checking the menu out when she suggested I should try the fried testicles.
"I think you'll find it's fried tentacles if you look a lil' closer"
Maybe I should have just let her place the order lol?

i thought bull's testicles was a popular Spanish delicacy?
I love fried tentacles :P I've never tried testicles... I'm not sure i'd like the texture
If you see criadillas on a tapas menu.......they actually are testicles.
If I saw testicles on the menu, I'd tell the waiter to put his pants back on !
You'd also not want there to be a hair in the food.
does the spanish chef arrange them on the plate with a chorizo?
Told this one on here before. While in Immenstadt, Bavaria, i hooked up with a young fraulein by the name of Irene (exotically pronunced ir-en-ya) who, after only a half hour or so, invited me back to her house for sex. I love the tentacles especially cooked 'Con Tinta'. Cooked in their own ink (sepia)

I’ve had that I think. Certainly seen them on the menu.
Definitely had salmon testicles.
My first Easter in France I visited the local butcher and saw a huge display of shiny, roundish, pinkish items all arranged in neat rows with appropriate greenery. The butcher was very proud of his display - it took a minute or 2 with a dictionary to realise that they were lambs' testicles, although to judge by the size, they were pretty big lambs!
Just one of the cultural shocks - I didn't buy any though (because I didn't know how to cook them).
"Waiter! Waiter! What do you mean the fried testicles are off?"
"This week the bull won, señor."

testicles are fine - last ate them in Chengdu....rabbits served in a stew...with lots of chilli in with them.....
eaten oxen's penis too, it's a viagra-substitute in China, deep-fried scorpions being the female equivalent.Oxen's penis is one of those dishes that grows on you.
We’re far too squeamish in this country about eating all parts of an animal. If you try it and really don’t like it that’s one thing, but not to even try it is ridiculous.
