Follow Up/ Loss Of Taste And Smell

I saw a 3rd doctor yesterday and he prescribed Avamys nasal spray. He has been the only one that said it's unlikely to return. He said the senses can just wear out. But of a shock really as I was hoping to get it back.

Avamys is a good call from your "3rd doctor" and may well take two months of treatment before you show some improvement......if at all.

I'm also using a salt pipe someone recommended on here by someone that said they had the same problem with a virus last year. They said it has really helped.

Silka hope your senses return, may take some time, but at least you now have a doctor to take your condition seriously and prescribe you some meds.
